We are in the process of fabrication of two custom stairs with rails for a long-term project that we are on this Summer. The stairs and rails are currently loaded and headed to hot-dipped galvanizing. Hot-dip galvanization is a form of galvanization.

Galvanization is the process of coating iron and steel with zinc, which alloys with the surface of the base metal when immersing the metal in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of around 840 °F (449 °C). It is a process that has protected steel from corrosion for generations throughout the world.

Along with other structural steel, Ledet Services provided custom fabrications and coatings on the project. This all began with us supplying the customer with detailed drawings and planning each step of the project so the work would stay on schedule and end in great success. We are well on our way!
